Mockingbird essay

I think the biggest idea in to kill a mockingbird was the stereotypes in the story. Both the situations in the story  had some type of stereotyping in it which each time they were wrong. I think that if you were to get any message from this story it is that do not judge a book by its cover.
One thing that was happening in the story was Tom Robinson was accused of a crime that he did not commit and Atticus was defending him in court. Just because Tom was african american they just believed he was guilty. Tom was really just a good married man who would never do anything wrong. Then the town people filled another stereotype of that time period of being racist. Tom was nothing like what they thought he was but the towns was exactly like what Tom probably thought about them. Bob Ewell was seen as the normal back then but he turned out to be evil. He tried to to kill jem and scout when they were just kids which shows how bad the normal was back then.
Boo Radley was also stereotyped in the book, he was seen as something that was nothing like him at all. Everyone in town thinks he some weird, mean, loner guy but really he is a kind, caring person who just doesn't like a lot of attention. Just like in the book where he left Scout and Jem presents in the tree and when he saved their lives from Bob Ewell who was going to stab them. The sheriff in the story was the only person who really saw Arthur for who he really was and that was why he covered up how he killed Bob.
There were also little not things that seemed not important   in the story but I think that other people had a label put on them. Atticus is seen by people as this lawyer that wasn't really interesting but he was really a deadshot with a rifle. Also Scout is a girl who was seen as weak just because she was a girl but really she kicked their butts.
Those are the stereotypes the characters had to deal with during the book.

oldman and the sea

                             Boring old man fishing
The story was about a starving cuban fisherman who went out fishing. He had not caught a fish in 84 days. He has his young apprentice help him everyday. He then goes fishing and spears a very big marlin after struggling with it for many days so he tied it to his boat. The blood from the marlin is smelled by sharks so they attacked the boat. He fought off the sharks and killed one. The entire marlin was eaten by the sharks and was nothing but a skeleton. He got home and he more respect from the other fisherman and he also got sicker and coughed up blood.

I hate fish this book was written about fish. This was torture to read.

I agree with this because the book was horrible and boring and just not even remotely enjoyable.

I thought this book writing style was not that good, the dialogue was awful, there was no interesting parts in any part of the story, and the characters didn't really have anything special about them.

This book didn't really remind me of  another more like watching gray paint dry on a wall. It did not remind me of any other book I have ever read because no other book I ever read was this dull.

This quote means that you can never take away a man's feeling of something and can't stop him from doing it, you can only stop him for a short period of time.

I hated the book and will never read it again ever, me and the book are mortal enemies.

Short story

It was a dark day in the dark dungeon make from a long lost group of tinkerer and engineers, young Hasti was walking around being stupid as always. As he went ahead of the group he came a rifle that had a large barrel. As he picked it up a man came at him as quick as a jungle cat and punched him right his nose. As he fell over Herkson came over and continued to stomp on Hasti's face. As the man sprouted wings and flew into the night, Hasti’s face was  not given a break. Herkson was merciless, making sure he could never see again and soon after Hershif and Hesker joined into this royal beating. They all kicked and stomped on him with every foot movement more blood being expelled. Soon Herkson decided to finish he took his beard which began to glow and a giant ray of light then hit Hasti. As the three of them backed up they realized he was very hurt so naturally Herkson pulled out a pistol shot him.
They rushed him to the hospital in Goldshire, a very messed up place untouched by the regular world. The hospital was not the best but it was the closest. They never thought they would have to go here but they had too . They didn't know it but Herkson did it for a reason. Herkson wanted to take over the world and taking him and the man out would aid his efforts even more to take it over. So after dropping him off at the hospital Hershif thought that rifle look familiar so he said “Hey that gun looked cool lets go on a ridiculous quest” They all cheered yes except Hasti who when moved his face started to bleed.
They then left Goldshire to go get the rifle but the Herkson had other plans. As they reached the road they saw a man in dark clothing shouting about how a great evil is coming and needs to be killed, so Herkson went over and stabbed him to make sure he would never talk about that ever again. So they searched the body and continued forward towards a small river and fishing town. Herkson baring his flaming stick, Hesker with his mighty shovel, and Hershif with his trident forged from the scales of a giant salamander and a boomerang from its children. As they continued forth into the forest to the night came faster than a thief stealing away the sun. “ The night gives cover to monsters and thugs alike  let's rest for the night” said Hesker. They set up a fire and a camp, they cooked a few rabbits they were able to catch. As the darkness thickened they went to their tents and sleep.
Herkson heard a the noise of a stick breaking, not the noise a small animal makes the sound of a full grown man possibly bringing many others with him. Herkson picked up his stick and lite its fire. He walked out of the tent to be greeted by two dozen men in dark ancient armor forged by a master blacksmith. He then took his stick and whacking two of them with the stick. Which is not effective, so he switches to a small concealed dagger made of glowing metal. He then stabbed the stick which caused a weird flammable liquid to drip out. As soon as his enemy pulled a gun so herkson blew it up causing the gun to deform and reform on his beard giving his powerful beard even more power. With the power of his beard he shot them one by one with his beard at maximum power. then out of the darkness the man walked forward with Hasti held by the neck in one hand and the rifle in the other. Herkson then fired and it was a direct hit, Hasti was slain.
Herkson left the man alive because he brought him Hasti so he continued his plan and would live with the other two dwarfs for now. Then they all went back to sleep. Hasti was dead on the ground his chest still glowing with the light, the light was then absorbed into his chest. He rose from the ground and traveled into the woods. He came across a man traveling through the woods the same who started it, he then used his raw power to make a flying tiger that shoots lasers from its eyes. The beast flew at him and shoot and killed him, Hasti then made his evil fortress in that exact location.  The tiger continued to the camp where Hesker and Hershif were coming out of their tents. Herkson said “ ok we have conquered Hasti now we continue on another adventure”. Then the beast flew out of the woods shooting its lazers. Hesker charged and tried to hit it with his enchanted shovel. He didn't make it two feet when he was exploded by the tiger. Herkson then just shot it with his beard canon and it exploded into three parts which he made into armor that he wore for the rest of his life.
Herkson realized that somehow Hasti had survived the blast from the beard canon so Herkson shot Hershif with his beard canon so he would not get in his way. Herkson went back on the road looking for Hasti because every second he grew stronger. He walked to the river town where they were all supposed to go. He found the man he was supposed to meet who told all of the data they needed to find the man so he punched him in the face and asked if any evil fortresses were being built. He pointed to the east so Herkson walked west, soon he reached the arctic circle where he sat for several hundred years. Then one day he walked back where Hasti took over the world so he took his newly grown beard and used it to make himself hair mech suit. So he walked into Hastis fort and shoot him with a force more powerful than he ever shot. Hasti flew through seventeen walls and died when he was impaled by a stick on an apple tree. That tree became the most producing apple tree in history. So Herkson became the harshest ruler the world has ever seen, any time any one tried to take him down he killed 100,000 people.

Final

                                     Values Essay
For my project I am comparing my xbox 360 and listening to a good song, one thing that is be priced and one thats priceless. My xbox was around $350.00 new,my xbox gives me hours of entertainment. When I listen to a good song its one of the best things I can think of of , its the perfect sound. It can make you imagine yourself in an awesome place or just relax away.
My Xbox is red with a skull in a cog gear on it, it is a limited edition Gears of War 3 version. When I turn it on it makes the noise the game does when you're at the main menu. I have about 30 games for it and each one holds a new adventure. All I have to do is put the disk in and I can do the impossible. Playing games is always fun but its not really a memorable and mainly just for that moment fun.
video games are awesome, which is the only reason I have an xbox. These are the ways I mainly have fun, I can do anything when I want. I have three games that are my favorite at the moment. Far Cry 3,Hitman: Absolution, and Minecraft. Far Cry 3 is my favorite game for a reason, it has everything a good game has. A good story, good characters, and a good villain, these factors make the game good. A good story makes you sucked into it, good characters make it easy to learn who your character is and get into it, and the good villain causes you to want to beat him but in this games case three bad guys. Hitman's good because it has good story but many good feature and effects and awesome ia for the characters.Minecraft is basically a sandbox game just building and surviving in a harsh environment.
Music is better than anything else in the world because its art. I don't  listen to what other people listen to because I find that kind of music lacking in awesomeness. That kind of music has a basic beat and cord repeated on guitar. I listen to the kind of music that takes skill to play, which rock, metal, punk, stuff like that. I just find that it appeals to me more than any other kind of music. I find it impressive with what they can do and they just make awesome sounds. It makes me just makes me feel a feeling I’ve never felt before I listened to it.
If I were to chose a favorite it would have to be music, it just doesn't even compare to each other. With my Xbox I have fun and get rid of stress by living in someone elses shoes and doing awesome things but music is better I can just sit back and relax and listen to my favorite song.
Sometimes xbox can stress me out even if I am relaxing which will get me even more on edge then I already was. Music can always make me relax even when the song is really fast and loud. Xbox I can do the impossible and be the impossible. Music can’t do that for me even if its a really good song. Xbox can also leave me sleep deprived for days trying to get something done which can really affect my lifestyle. So since music has more ups than downs music is better then my Xbox.
Just because its expensive doesn't mean its better then the free things, sometimes the priceless things can be worth more.

For my project I read Cujo by Stephen King, it was very descriptive. It was a bit to descriptive, so descriptive that it rambled at some parts and made it extremely hard to follow. It confused me at many times.
I give it 3.5 paws
Cujo was about a friendly large Saint Bernard who contracted rabies through the story the dogs emotions changed and became hostile and went on a killing spree.
